Absolutely exceptional. This place really feels like a home away from home, and far surpasses your usual hotel or AirBnB in both the superior quality of the accommodation and the delightful experience. Both Maria and Phil are genuine, kind and welcoming hosts who are fantastic to be around. The accommodation itself is incredible and there are so many unique attentions to detail around the home, including a stunning lake and a cabin bar. The next time we’re in the area we will be sure to be back without hesitation. Please do not read the negative reviews from people who have not spent a night, they do not reflect the experience you will have staying here.

Arrogant and rude hosts, It's hardly bed and breakfast if they don't provide a cooked breakfast. Over priced for what it is a bedroom in someone's house. Not a proper hotel.

Definition of arrogance, would rather stay in a hostel than give you my hard earned money.

Over priced, not value, smells of smoke steer clear. They claim to be classy it’s just B&M bargains tat, with plastic wall cladding in bathrooms? That doesn’t warrant the room rate especially with no real breakfast just cornflake dispenser in room which is topped up not fully renewed they are unhygienic. Owners are smokers and it’s there house your staying in so you can smell smoke throughout.

So glad we didn't read the reviews before going because then we would have missed out on such a hidden gem! Please ignore the nonsense reviews from people who have never been here. This place is STUNNING! Lovely service. Beautiful rooms. Comfy bed. Great value compared to other options in the area. We will be back 100%. Highly recommend a stay here, especially in the summer when you can enjoy the amazing outdoor space properly.

We spent two lovely nights here in this homestay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing and we where made to feel at home. Rooms where clean and beautifully decorated. We would definately stay here again. We had a great view of the lovely countryside there, just no time to explore. We have not seen TV program, and would suggest reviews based on this can just be ignored. Shops, places to eat <10 mins by car and local food delivery services brought us an ok chinese meal.

What more can I say. We absolutely loved it - Phill and Maria were perfect hosts, and Sparky the dog is lovely too. The room was lovely and clean, well stocked with plenty of Tea, Coffee, milk, cereal etc and the shower was lovely and warm and easy to operate. Only a short drive from Leamington and Warwick, and there's plenty of local restaurants locally that deliver. We're already booked in again for next April we loved it so much. Thanks again both. X

Wow, what a beautiful place to stay, gorgeous views, and my boys loved the lake! Luxurious accommodation, so so clean. Wonderfully kind and helpful experienced hosts. The bed was so comfortable! Honest box system for snacks is a great idea. Can't wait to come back. ❤️

I didn’t watch the show but I’m befuddled by the comments here. Really odd. I just stayed there for two nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Maria and Phil are so lovely and they make you feel like family. The rooms are tidy and beautifully decorated. The grounds are really nice and lovingly cared for. I’d definitely return

IGNORE ALL 1 STAR REVIEWS A lot of what people have 'reviewed' has been based on perception following 4 in a bed. None of these people have stayed at The Spinney. We stayed for 1 night and the hospitality was 5 stars. The decor is lovely but the star of the show is the outdoor setting. There is a lake with a fountain with a little boat you can use. There's chairs and a wood burner as well as a pizza oven. Perfect for families and I would definitely stay again. Thank you for the walk welcome and being very accommodating.
